This is an excellent pedal set
Solid, reliable and great value pedals. I moved as a logical progression from flat pedals to these at the suggestion of a friend. The sure-footedness of SPD with the option of using regular shoes/trainers was attractive... A year later they're happily scuffed up and going strong.

Light, beautiful, reliable grip
I already have such pedals on another bike, they have been working for 3 years and serve great. Therefore, I order more for the rest of the bikes. The price is good for such quality

XT Trekking Pedals
New bike needed pedals and I got these. I use the older T780 version on various bikes and the new T8000 version is a worthwhile improvement. The clip in side is basically the same but the flat side now has replaceable pins to aid grip between pedal and footwear. Another bonus are the amber reflectors for night riding. Quality as expected from a higher end Shimano product, smooth and precise and the bearings are easily serviceable.
