Nice bag concept, however, it is a bit too tight. It has an awkward fit around the seat rails, it is also hard to properly secure with the velcro strap, very likely to fall off while riding.
Great little buy
This is exactly what I wanted. If your after something neat and tidy that does not affect the look of your bike too much then this is perfect. With some carful packing I’ve managed to fit an inner tube, co2 can and nozzle and tyre leavers in this bag so it ticks all the boxes for me. Just hope the Velcro can stand up over time but definitely worth a buy.
Too small to fit a 700x28 tube
Nice bag but too small. I could not fit a 700x28 road bike tube let alone levers, patch kit, and pocket tool. Totally useless to me.
Scicon Elan 210
Great minimalist saddle bag. Can fit: tube, levers, Co2, nozzle and allen keys (or small multi). Takes some smart packing, but if you are after something small to cover just the essentials - this is it. Velco looks durable, and tuck neatly up into saddle.
Great little saddle bag. Enough space for a tube, tyre levers and a co2 cartridge and head
Great little saddle bag
Was looking for a lightweight minimal saddle bag to complement a new lightweight minimal road bike. This bag is perfect, very low profile, well stitched and material is tough and feels durable. Holds a spare tube, CO2 cartridge, inflator, minitool, one tire lever and some cash. Everything you need and nothing you don't.
If you are looking for a very minimalist saddle bag, this is for you. I found it way too small to be of any practical use. After putting a tube in it, there's very little room for anything else unless you really jam things in. I got one tire lever in besides the tube, a tire boot and a Park GP-2 patch kit. I decided I could not be out riding considerable distances with any tools at all. This one will not do.
I can live with this
Hate saddle bags as they spoil the look of a bike, however I can live with this one as it's so neat and small whilst still being able to carry all you need, it's great.
If small is what you are looking for
I bought the Scicon Carbon Masters Elan 210 Carbonium Saddle Bag as I was looking for a smaller saddlebag and this is certainly that. I have been able to sqeeze a spare tube, tire levers and co2 canister in it but its a VERY tight fit! Ive now reverted to carrying some Park puncture patches instead of the spare tube and everything fits easily. I have also had the velcro on the strap come undone once while going over speed bumps which was annoying. The upside was that the bag did withstand 3 cars running over it!
Great saddle bag! I don't know about the review that says its too small, but I can fir a road tube, CO2 cylinder with quick fill, tire lever (or 2) patch kit and money. A huge improvement would be a pocket or slot to put you $ and tire boots or anything thin but other than that I love it.
