really did not need another heart monitor. I did need something that would work for my Kinetic trainer to better follow my progress. This works well I have use the heart monitor with our the Kinetics Trainer & even used to monitor my heart while swimming ( with the help of another person calling of very lap). I found more applicate by even allowing other people to use the Kinetic trainer & monitor their progress.
